New Horizons
A New Horizons counselor is a wellness specialist who meets with students individually during their non-core classes once a week. While students participate in New Horizons, they work as a group or individually to learn about different coping strategies, anger management, communication skills, team building, decision-making and healthy relationships. Referrals to the New Horizons program go through the school counselors (Ms. Long or Ms. Fowler).
