Welcome to Montford Middle School Athletics!  Montford is a member of the Leon County Middle Schools Athletic Association.  Our athletic teams compete against other middle schools in Leon County in sanctioned middle school sports.  As Mustangs, we encourage our student athletes to try out, practice, and compete with integrity, sportsmanship, and pride as representatives of themselves, their families, and our school.

Attention homeschool and private school students:

Participation Fees for Home Education and Private School Students

In accordance with Leon County Schools Board Policy 2431, eligible home education and private school students who choose to participate in a Leon County Schools athletic team or performing arts program are required to pay the applicable participation fee for each sport and/or activity in which they participate.

The participation fee shall be the greater of:

• $400.00 per sport and/or activity, or
• The participation fee established for enrolled Leon County Schools students participating in that same sport or activity.

Only one participation fee will be assessed per sport or activity. Students will not be charged both amounts.

All participation fees are paid directly to the school where the student participates.

For participation requirements, applicable fees, and registration procedures, please contact the school's Athletic Director, Band Director, or Chorus Director.
